Retrofitting the Blue Quill Outdoor Basketball Court with New Rims, Net, Backboards, and Flooring.
Our initiative is to retrofit and help improve the Blue Quill basketball courts located at the Blue Quill Community League in South Edmonton. With the help of the community, we plan on improving the recreational area by modernizing the facility with the funds from this event. By providing a fun atmosphere for men, women, and youth to play competitively in an outdoor court. By acquaint players with the fundamentals of game rules; dribbling, shooting, blocking and rebounding, teaching sportsmanship, discipline, and love of the game.
We're passionate about basketball and believe providing a safe environment for youth & adults to play. Bring our community closer together through a common interest in sportsmanship and competition. For this project to be a reality, our goal is to raise $60 000 dollars to complete the modernization.
Our partnership with the Blue Quill community league has allowed this project to be a reality in improving this facility. Since our first event in 2015. We've brought attention to this neglected basketball court. By demonstrating it is interested in its revival by hosting such events. We plan on continuing to do so.
But none of this wouldn't be possible without the assistance of our sponsors and volunteers in the community that makes this event possible. So thank you and feel free to contribute to our project.
Registration fees $150 per team. Please pay via our FIBA 3X3 event site.
Teams could consist up to 4 players In register age groups.
Waiver forms must be submitted with registration or signed prior to playing.
***Price includes player insurance. Adtional information can be found on the FIBA 3X3 website.
If you would like to take part in the Blue Quill Classic Basketball Tournament, please fill in your details for each team member in the registration form via our FIBA 3x3 link. Waivers will be available on-site at our Players Check-In Table location.
Event registration and payment must be completed prior to the event.
Schedules reminders will be sent to on August 8th via email to all team captains. Schedules will be posted on the Fiba 3x3 Site.
Each team member must sign to the score sheet prior to the start of the game.

Prizes will be given out to competitors who finish at the top of their division. Also to the participants of the three-point shootout, dunk competition, along with on-site raffle draws. ***All Prizes are subject to the involvement of sponsors.
