Our Mission.
Alley Hoop is dedicated to strengthening the Basketball Community in Edmonton by utilizing sportsmanship and competition as a unifying force.
Our primary goal is to create a welcoming and stimulating atmosphere where individuals of all ages can play basketball competitively while acquiring critical values such as sportsmanship, discipline, and a love for the game.
Since our inception in 2016, we have worked tirelessly to revive the Blue Quill Community Basketball Courts and help improve the area by organizing events and partnering with the community league for basketball-related projects.
Alley Hoop has played a vital role in every phase of the modernization project, from designing the court to installing the nets, backboards, and rims, utilizing our considerable expertise and resources.
We have successfully achieved our ultimate goal of completing the modernization project, with events continuing to support the growth of the game and strengthen community ties. Now we strive towards new goals within the basketball community.
These basketball courts have received the highest foot traffic in years, with over 250,000+ Google Maps searches.
Our sponsors and community volunteers have been the cornerstone of our success, and we could not have achieved our goals without their generous contributions. We always value feedback from the community on ways to make our events even better.
But now it's time to replicate this success in another community. We have chosen to move the tournament to the community of Duggan.
